About the Thermal Water
The thermal water is brought to the surface on the Margaret Island at a temperature of 70°C but it is then cooled to 32-34°C and 36-38°C but retaining it's unique, curative ingredients. It is then pumped across the river to the hotel spa to be used for many treatments.
The thermal water on the Margaret Island is famous for it's healing effects on conditions such as joint and muscle problems, certain degenerative nerve conditions, some circulation disorders, and many other complaints. Relaxing in the thermal water is also a perfect way to unwind and release the stresses and tensions of modern life.

Health Spa Stays
Indications: locomotor disorders, articular pain, rheumatism (except acute inflammation), circulatory disturbances, postoperative rehabilitation, exhaustion, recreation.
Contraindications: acute inflammation, rheumatic fever, acute stage of S.L.E. and immune diseases, certain skin diseases, cardiac diseases, sclerosis multiplex, feverish condition, thrombosis.
Therapeutic Stays
Using our natural resources together with the expertise of our medical team and physiotherapists, Therapeutic Stays are designed to treat the complaints listed in the Indications. The recommended length of stay is between 14 and 21 days.
